One of the most exciting new albums of 2024 is now available. Alaska Borealis is an album like no other.
The music world have been waiting for one of the most exciting albums of 2024, and we are thrilled to announce it is now available. The release of the highly anticipated album, “Alaska Borealis,” is a groundbreaking project that marks a significant milestone in the music industry.
This collaborative album features Killah Priest, a renowned member of Wu-Tang Clan, joining forces with a talented group of Alaskan artists to create a musical experience that promises to captivate audiences worldwide.
“Alaska Borealis,” now available on major music streaming platforms, lives up to its flashy, colorful namesake. It includes seven tracks by Alaska artists, each featuring verses from Killah Priest. The exceptional lineup of contributing artists includes Juneau’s Air Jazz, Radiophonic, Lance Mitchell, and Zansler; Sitka’s Phonetic; and Fairbanks’ Alaska Redd. The album was expertly engineered by Jbo of Juneau’s Second2None Sound studio.
The album’s release was celebrated with an electrifying concert in Juneau, where Zansler, Radiophonic, Air Jazz, Phonetic, and Killah Priest took turns on the mic before an enthusiastic crowd in Alaska’s capital city. This live performance marked the beginning of what we believe will be an impactful journey for “Alaska Borealis.” A CD release is also in the works, with more details to come.
Killah Priest’s involvement in this project is particularly noteworthy. As a member of Wu-Tang Clan, his participation has provided invaluable exposure and opportunities for these young Alaskan artists, many of whom are just starting their musical journeys. This collaboration aims to spotlight the rich talent emerging from Southeast Alaska and provide a platform for these artists to reach a wider audience.
A publicist for the album said: “We are excited to share this remarkable album with you and your audience. Featuring “Alaska Borealis” on your platform would not only help these artists gain exposure but also bring a fresh and diverse sound to your listeners.”
