12-Year-Old Canadian Artist Shatters 11 Industry Records, Wins Mic Madness, Hosted by Jay-Z’s Nephew Rel Carter, and Launches “Seasons” to International Acclaim
BRAMPTON, ONTARIO — Cairo Snow was seven years old the first time he remixed a hit song, swapping out the words with his own and delivering them with an energy that stopped everyone in the room. His parents knew then that something rare was unfolding. Five years later, the world is beginning to agree.
By January 2025, at only eleven years old, Cairo released his debut single, an independent drop that launched a record-breaking twelve months. Before the year was out, he had shattered 11 official music industry records, including becoming the youngest independent Canadian hip-hop artist with international radio airplay across seven countries, and surpassing 250,000 plays on Rapfame, where he also took home two awards, including Youth Artist of the Year. By the end of March 2026, Cairo is on pace to shatter 9 more records, bringing his total to 20.
CAIRO WINS ROC NATION’S MIC MADNESS
In one of the most significant moments of his young career, Cairo was named the Official Winner of Mic Madness, the prestigious live Zoom music competition curated by Chris Tyson and Rel Carter (Roc Nation).
Mic Madness pits independent artists head-to-head in a song-vs-song format with live audience voting determining who advances and Cairo dominated every round. His prizes include:
• A trip to Atlanta, Georgia
• Studio time with Chris Tyson & Rel Carter
• A $10,000 Rich Musician Scholarship
Chris Tyson is a respected music marketer and mentor who has worked with artists including Megan Thee Stallion, Lil Baby, and Malone. Rel Carter serves as Director of Artist Partnerships at Roc Nation, is a former A&R, nephew of Jay-Z, and has helped artists including J. Cole and Rihanna. Their selection of Cairo as the winner speaks volumes about the impact of his talent.
MILESTONES THAT DEFINE A MOVEMENT
Cairo’s record-breaking ascent has been marked by a string of historic firsts. He is the youngest-ever winner of TD Bank’s “Show Your Flow” Best Hip-Hop Artist Award at JerkFest, a festival with 25 years of history. He is the youngest in his category to advance through four rounds of fan voting in Rolling Stone Magazine’s Top Hitmaker Search. He is the youngest hip-hop performer in both JerkFest and Irie Vibes Festival history. And last summer, he was personally invited by Wu-Tang Clan to join them live on stage at Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, a viral moment witnessed by more than 19,000 fans.
“SEASONS” — THE NEXT CHAPTER
Cairo’s highly anticipated new single, “Seasons,” was released on February 11, 2026, under new distribution, and the response has been extraordinary. Radio stations in Brazil, Sweden, France, the UK, Canada, and the USA have already picked up the single. And in a landmark expansion of his international footprint, Cairo is now hitting the airwaves for the first time in Colombia, Peru, Argentina, Japan, Australia, Switzerland, Mexico, Nigeria, and Chile, adding nine more records to his career total.
Cairo is also making his Brazilian debut via satellite broadcast, and over 100 media outlets are lined up to feature him by the end of March. Fans in Toronto, Los Angeles, New York, Atlanta, Paris, Tokyo, and Brazil will see Cairo’s image lighting up billboards across each city soon.
A select group of industry insiders received an early listen to the new single. Every response came back with praise, with some calling Cairo “hip-hop’s Justin Bieber,” capturing the same once-in-a-generation breakout energy.
THE TEAM BEHIND THE MOVEMENT
Cairo is managed by his parents, founders of STA Entertainment, and supported by industry veteran Kris Christie of Desire Determination Management, whose career roster has included Nelly Furtado, Coldplay, Atlantic Records, UTA, Warner Chappell, Artie Kornfeld (creator of Woodstock ’69), and the late legendary entertainment lawyer Paul Marshall (who facilitated Michael Jackson’s purchase of The Beatles’ catalog and represented Whitney Houston, Kiss).
His creative foundation is built with multi-platinum Toronto-based producer B3 (Drake, Sony Music Italy), together helping Cairo build a vault of over 100 mastered, clean, and youth-driven tracks an extraordinary achievement for any artist, let alone one still in his early teens. He also holds a mentorship with platinum-certified producer and engineer MtStreets (Dua Lipa, Lil Baby, Rich the Kid).
“I just want people to feel something real and know they can be great no matter where they’re from.”
