From the backstreets of California to the oil fields of Texas, Raiziel has carried his story in every rhyme, beat, and melody he’s created. Now 33, with over 200 songs written and a self-forged

vocal style that defies imitation, the rising artist is stepping into the global spotlight with a journey that’s equal parts grit and inspiration.

In this exclusive sit-down with Music Times UK, Raiziel reflects on his roots, the obstacles that shaped him, and the dedication it took to build his sound from the ground up.

—

Music Times UK: You were born in California but raised between the U.S. and Mexico before

eventually moving to Texas. How did that shape your outlook?

Raiziel: Life wasn’t easy. We struggled with money, moved around a lot, and I spent time in

Mexico as a kid. Growing up, I saw the streets early, and it left a mark on me. That environment gave me the hunger to keep pushing forward.

—

Music Times UK: You started freestyling as a teenager. What made you turn it into something more serious?

Raiziel: At 14, it was just fun with friends. But I realized I had something real inside me. Music

became a way to release everything I was experiencing. By the time I hit 25, I knew I had to take it seriously.

—

Music Times UK: You worked tough jobs before committing to music. How did that influence

your drive?

Raiziel: I worked in construction, then in the oilfields. Those jobs were rough, but they taught me discipline. Still, music never stopped calling me. When I finally recorded my first track at 27,

that’s when it all became real.

—Music Times UK: Reggaeton became a huge influence on you. How did that shift happen?

Raiziel: I grew up on rap, but when I heard Wisin y Yandel, I connected instantly. The rhythm,

the energy—it just felt natural to me. Once I tried reggaeton myself, I realized I had a gift for it.

—

Music Times UK: You’ve written over 200 songs. That’s serious dedication. What kept you going?

Raiziel: Practice, dedication, and the belief that I could create something original. I spent years in my bedroom studio, teaching myself how to use my voice and experimenting until I created

my own lane. I call it “giving birth” to my vocals—it’s about emotion and honesty.

—

Music Times UK: With all the challenges you’ve faced, what keeps you motivated now?

Raiziel: I left a lot behind chasing this dream. Some days were tough, but I always reminded myself why I started. Music is hope for me. I want to inspire people to keep going no matter how hard life gets. The sky really is the limit.

—

Music Times UK: What can fans expect from you next?

Raiziel: I’ve got hundreds of ideas and songs I’ve been building for years, and now I’m finally bringing them to life. This is just the beginning.

—

The Music Times UK Takeaway

Raiziel is more than an artist—he’s proof that resilience fuels creativity. From freestyling in Texas to mastering his craft in solitude, from rap beginnings to reggaeton passion, his journey has been forged in perseverance. With hundreds of songs ready to hit the world, Raiziel is not just chasing a dream—he’s creating a legacy.
