In a candid conversation with Music Times UK, Khalil Ahmad, the Kentucky-born hip-hop artist, shares insights into his journey, music, and creative process.

*Q: Khalil, your background in battle rap has undoubtedly influenced your music. Can you tell us about your experience in the Atlanta scene?*

A: “Battle rap taught me a lot about lyrical dexterity and performance. It was a great way to hone my skills and get feedback from the audience. I’m grateful for the experience, but I’m excited to focus on music now. “

*Q: Your recent project, What inspired this project?

“Blow” , has been gaining attention, particularly with the single “Bounce

A: “I wanted to create music that showcases my growth and versatility as an artist. ‘Blow’ is a reflection of my experiences, emotions, and observations. I’m thrilled that people are resonating with it.

*Q: Your music style has been compared to artists like Pusha T and J. Cole. How do you feel about these comparisons?*

A: “I’m flattered by the comparisons. These artists are legends in the industry, and to be mentioned alongside them is an honor. However, I’m focused on carving out my own unique sound and style.

*Q: What can fans expect from your future projects?*

A: “I’m always working on new music and experimenting with different sounds. I’m excited to share my next project with fans and continue to push the boundaries of my creativity.

*Q: How do you balance your creative process with the pressures of the music industry?*

A: “For me, it’s about staying true to my art and not compromising my vision. I take inspiration from my experiences and observations, and I try to stay focused on creating music that resonates with my fans.
