Surabhi Dashputra Signs Multi-Song Deal with UK Indie Label Aart Sense Records, Signaling a Bold New Chapter in Global Indie Music

In a significant move underscoring her rising global profile, Indian vocalist and songwriter Surabhi Dashputra, currently based in Mumbai, has inked a multi-song agreement with UK-based independent label Aart Sense Records — a partnership poised to amplify her cross-cultural sonic footprint.

This announcement arrives on the heels of a string of celebrated releases — including “More Sajan (Remastered)”, “Mangoge Na”, and “Jism Ya Rooh” — all of which have earned critical acclaim and streaming momentum across borders. Dashputra, known for her unmistakable vocal timbre and lyrical finesse, continues to establish herself as a formidable talent among India’s new wave of globally conscious independent artists.

Aart Sense Records, though relatively young in the indie circuit, has rapidly gained traction. With nearly a third of its catalogue charting on Spotify’s Viral 50 in multiple countries, the label has become a proving ground for genre-fluid, globally resonant music. The synergy between the label’s forward-thinking ethos and Dashputra’s eclectic artistry makes this collaboration particularly promising.

“Surabhi’s voice carries both soul and substance,” said a spokesperson from Aart Sense Records. “Her intuitive songwriting and collaborative spirit — especially in projects with talents like Arjuna Harjai — place her in a league of artists who are not just shaping sounds, but reshaping boundaries.”

Dashputra’s recent collaborations include a standout track with Arijit Singh, produced by Arjuna Harjai — a release that has crossed 5 million streams across platforms and continues to garner praise for its emotional depth and production nuance. Her remastered rendition of “More Sajan”, released under Aart Sense Records, has been particularly well received for its delicate balance of tradition and innovation.

From atmospheric ballads like “Jism Ya Rooh” to the emotionally rich “Mangoge Na”, Dashputra’s catalogue showcases a rare versatility — equally at home in classical-rooted melodies and contemporary arrangements. Her music has now reached audiences in over 25 countries, marking her as a rare crossover act from South Asia whose appeal cuts across language and genre.

The artist’s Spotify page (Surabhi Dashputra on Spotify) offers a compelling glimpse into her evolving body of work, including featured performances in tracks like “Ren De”, “Jism Ya Rooh”, and “More Sajan (Remastered)”, where she features not just as a vocalist, but as an emotional anchor.

Looking ahead, the Aart Sense partnership is expected to open up a slate of international collaborations, cementing her place in a global conversation around independent music that is as much about identity as it is about sound.

With this new deal, Surabhi Dashputra steps into a broader arena — one where language, genre, and geography dissolve — and music, in its purest form, becomes the connector.
