Following the success of the first single ‘The world needs love’ which has been compared by the BBC to a James Bond theme song, the second single “Emerald Sea” cements Pola as a compelling new voice in alternative pop—one unafraid to push sonic boundaries.

Lush, cinematic, incredibly catchy and otherworldly, “Emerald Sea” marks a bold step forward for the alt-pop artist and continues build excitement for her forthcoming album, due October, 2025. Produced by acclaimed musician and producer Ed Harcourt, “Emerald Sea” showcases Pola’s signature ethereal vocals layered over rich instrumentation. Drawing comparisons to Kate Bush and Massive Attack, the track blends cinematic depth with intimate emotion, immersing the listener in a world that feels both dreamlike and urgent.

“‘Emerald Sea’ came from a place of longing—for escape, for connection, for peace and something bigger than storms of life,” Pola explains.
“Emerald Sea” is available now on all major streaming platforms. The full album will release globally on April 28, 2025.

Born into a famous polish musical family ‘POSPIESZALSCY” she grew up immersed in music and has built a career that spans multiple genres and international audiences. Her debut album, My Favorite Town (2010), produced by Robin Millar and Ned Bigham (Amy Winehouse, Leona Lewis), gained widespread recognition, leading to major festival appearances, live TV performances, and support slots for global artists like Macy Gray.

Pola has performed for crowds of over 20,000 people and toured extensively, including an unforgettable series of performances in China alongside Andy Summers of The Police.

Summers also contributed his signature guitar work to Pola’s new album. ‘This is something a little bit special, something new, and rather beautiful. From singer songwriter Pola, sounding like a potential James Bond theme. And with a poignant message for us in these troubles times ‘The World Needs Love’ Gary Crowley @BBC London @BBCSOUNDS.
