The buzz was impossible to ignore in Nyack this past weekend as Club Andromeda, the village’s newest music venue, officially cemented its place on the Hudson Valley’s live music map with a sold-out show headlined by none other than Millionaires. These early-2000s electro-pop icons high-energy fueled the night and was brought to life by Andromeda Productions, a creative powerhouse based in Nyack that specializes in both film and live music production.
The packed event, which tapped into the vibrant nostalgia of the early 2000s, marked more than just a big night for fans of Y2K aesthetics and throwback beats – it was a major win for Andromeda Productions, the creative force behind the night’s success. The lineup included touring act Saving Vice alongside regional talents RSI, Meow Meow, Korra Rain, and Restriction, each delivering genre-spanning sets that kept the crowd energized from beginning of the night to last call.
The Millionaires first burst onto the scene in 2007, gaining notoriety with their DIY track “I Like Money” uploaded to MySpace. Their brash, glittery sound and no-holds-barred attitude made them standouts of the digital music revolution. With singles like “Alcohol” and “Just Got Paid, Let’s Get Laid,” they helped define a subculture and sound that blended party anthems with punk-pop defiance.

The duo went on to chart in the UK with “Stay the Night” and earned a cult following through appearances on MTV’s Bad Girls Club and performing the iconic Warped Tour. Now consisting of Melissa Marie Green and Meredith Hurley, Millionaires are riding a wave of Y2K revivalism, drawing in longtime fans and new listeners alike.
Meet the team behind Andromeda Productions; a multidisciplinary company founded by Mena Guy, Myles Weinfeld, and Cori Schimko. The team merges live event production, media, and design into a cohesive platform for artists and audiences alike. Guy leads the visual elements and aesthetic experiences. Weinfeld brings the music to life through his expertise in event operations and artist coordination and Schimko, a seasoned production designer, rounds out the team’s creative direction. Together, they’ve created a production model that is as forward-thinking as it is rooted in community.
Club Andromeda, a new but promising venue, proved it could hold its own as an emerging hotspot – the kind of place where retro meets underground, and legacy acts meet the next wave of talent.

If Sunday night is any indication, both Club Andromeda and Andromeda Productions are set to become pillars of the Hudson Valley’s growing alt-music and art scene, with a growing calendar of future planned events and shows on the horizon.
