Luca Riemma has made a significant mark in the film and television industry with a series of compelling performances that showcase his versatility and depth. Known for his roles as Pietro in the long-running Italian soap opera Un Posto al Sole, Antonio in Francis Ford Coppola’s Distant Vision, and Giotto Bizzarrini in Bobby Moresco’s Lamborghini, Riemma is a talented actor who adeptly steps into diverse characters.

His recent return to Italy has been marked by two contrasting roles that delve into the theme of justice. In the miniseries Il Giudice e i Suoi Assassini, directed by Michele Placido and dedicated to Judge Rosario Livatino, Riemma explores the complexities of morality and law. Simultaneously, in Mare Fuori 6, he portrays Simone’s lawyer, offering a pragmatic and methodical perspective on the legal system. These characters highlight Riemma’s ability to embody different facets of justice, reflecting the contemporary relevance of the theme in today’s society

Riemma’s portrayal of Simone’s lawyer is characterized by a balanced, methodical approach, contrasting sharply with his performance as the mafia underboss Randazzo, who is driven by passion and ambition. This duality allows Riemma to navigate the intricate systems of power and survival depicted in both narratives, showcasing his skill in embodying transformative and multi-layered roles.

In addition to his work in contemporary television, Riemma took a bold leap into historical drama with his role in Zero A.D., where he filmed in Morocco alongside actors such as Jim Caviezel, Sam Worthington, Ben Mendelsohn, and David Harewood. Director Alejandro Monteverde described Riemma’s character as “The Scholar,” portraying an interiorized and reflective role that adds another layer to his diverse portfolio.

Looking to the future, Riemma is also known for his role in The Saints 2, directed by Martin Scorsese. Furthermore, he served as executive producer for This is the Year, alongside Selena Gomez, and is involved in The Italians, directed by Michelle Danner. As the founder and CEO of 3L Studios, Riemma is committed to producing international content, solidifying his presence in the industry not just as an actor but also as a visionary producer.

In a career that continues to evolve, Luca Riemma stands out as a versatile actor capable of bringing depth and complexity to a multitude of roles, making significant contributions to both film and television.
