Within eight days of joining MyTalent, Harvey secured international radio support, entered discussions that led to a recording agreement with Umbrella Records and began building relationships that would expand his reach far beyond the Philippines.

What began as a simple artist profile on MyTalent quickly evolved into one of the platform’s first documented international success stories.

Within 8 days of joining the platform, Harvey’s music attracted the attention of talent industry professionals and radio stations actively searching for emerging talent. That discovery set in motion a series of opportunities that many independent artists spend years trying to achieve.

Within eight days of joining MyTalent, Harvey had secured international radio support, entered discussions that led to a recording agreement with Umbrella Records, and began building relationships that would expand his reach far beyond the Philippines.

For an independent artist, opportunities of this scale often take years to develop. For Harvey, they arrived in little more than a week.

For Harvey, the experience has been both exciting and overwhelming.

“It feels surreal because everything is happening so fast,”Harvey said. “As an independent musician, you’re used to waiting months just to release a new single. I’ve been working toward opportunities like this my entire career, and I’ve never been more ready.”

A Journey Six Years in the Making

While Harvey’s breakthrough may appear sudden, the foundation was built over nearly six years of persistence, creativity and community support.

His musical journey began during the COVID-19 pandemic when he started writing lyrics and posting short performances on TikTok. What started as a creative outlet quickly attracted attention and allowed him to develop his voice as both a songwriter and performer.

One of the most important milestones came when he became involved with Club Euphoria, a creative collective that provided performance opportunities for emerging artists.

“They were the first people to truly believe in me and gave me opportunities to perform,” Harvey said. “Those stages became my training ground.”

The exposure eventually led to songwriting collaborations and creative partnerships with some of the Philippines’ most recognizable entertainers and creators, including Sassa Gurl, Marina Summers and artists connected to Drag Den and Slaysian Royale.

Those experiences helped establish Harvey as both a performer and songwriter while connecting him to one of Southeast Asia’s most influential creator communities.

A Multi-Million Creator Ecosystem

Harvey’s growing network extends far beyond traditional music industry circles.

Through collaborations with creators, performers and digital personalities, he has become connected to a rapidly expanding ecosystem that spans music, television, film, live entertainment and social media.

Artists and creators associated with productions such as Drag Den and Slaysian Royale collectively reach audiences numbering in the tens of millions across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and other digital platforms.

Among them is Sassa Gurl, one of the Philippines’ most influential creators and entertainers, whose audience exceeds 11 million followers across social media.

Together, these communities represent a powerful cultural network capable of amplifying emerging talent far beyond traditional industry channels.

For MyTalent, Harvey’s growing visibility demonstrates how creator communities can accelerate discovery and opportunity for independent artists worldwide.

From Independent Artist to International Airplay

Shortly after joining MyTalent, Harvey’s music began attracting international attention.

His next release will become the first official project launched through the new partnership between Harvey, Umbrella Records and MyTalent, serving as a flagship case study for how independent artists can leverage community, industry relationships and global distribution to reach new audiences worldwide.

From Manila to listeners across North and South America, Harvey’s journey demonstrates how digital platforms and creator communities are reshaping the way talent is discovered in the modern music industry.

His releases secured radio support across North America while also entering regular rotation on a growing network of stations throughout Brazil, one of the world’s largest and most influential music markets.

His music is currently receiving support from multiple stations including Ouro Verde FM 105.9, Nova Aliança FM 87.9, AEMULA, Rádio Estilo de Jogo, Toque da Última Trombeta, MAGA FM, Leticia FM, Duca FM, Nunciatus, Memorias e Melodias, Sertão Sucesso and Capela FM 105.9.

Several stations feature his music daily, introducing his work to new audiences across multiple regions.

“It means a lot to me as an artist who simply wanted my voice to be heard,” Harvey said. “Knowing that people in different countries are listening to my music is something I’m still trying to process.”

Building a Global Platform for Discovery

For MyTalent, Harvey’s story represents exactly why the platform was created.

MyTalent is designed to help talented people get discovered, build communities and connect with industry opportunities regardless of where they live.

According to MyTalent Promotion and Marketing Manager Marielle Vitting, Harvey’s journey demonstrates what becomes possible when creators are given access to the right audience.

“We built MyTalent because talent deserves to be discovered,”Vitting said.

“Kumare Harvey’s success shows what can happen when talented people are given the opportunity to be seen by the right people. He joined the platform, shared his work and connected with people who genuinely believed in what he was creating.”

Earlier this year, a music initiative organized together with Sony Music generated more than 30,000 registrations before the platform’s full launch, highlighting growing demand among creators looking for new opportunities and industry access.

More Than a Success Story

As one of MyTalent’s first Founding Ambassadors, Harvey’s role extends beyond music.

He is now actively helping support other creators by sharing his experience and encouraging emerging artists to pursue their ambitions.

He believes one of the greatest challenges facing independent musicians is finding the right support system.

“The biggest challenge for independent artists is finding community,” Harvey said. “The creative world is built on relationships. Without support and collaboration, it’s difficult to build a network and grow.”

Over the coming year, Harvey plans to release new music, pursue international collaborations, perform for larger audiences and continue supporting creators through MyTalent’s growing global community.

His future releases will continue exploring themes of confidence, authenticity and self-expression.

“My favorite part of being an artist is being in the studio and creating,” Harvey said. “That’s where the magic happens. The next chapter is going to be bigger, bolder and unapologetically me.”

Inspiring the Next Generation

Harvey’s success comes as MyTalent expands its efforts to discover and support independent artists globally.

The platform recently launched its “Win Your First Global Music Release” initiative, giving emerging artists the opportunity to receive professional mastering, international distribution and a global promotional campaign designed to help talented creators reach audiences beyond their home markets.

MyTalent hopes Harvey’s journey will inspire the next generation of artists to take that first step and share their work with the world.

Looking Ahead

Harvey may be one of the first artists to emerge from MyTalent’s growing global ecosystem, but the company believes he will not be the last.

As creators, artists, industry professionals and fans continue joining the platform, MyTalent hopes to create thousands of similar opportunities for talented people who might otherwise go unnoticed.

Less than a month ago, Harvey uploaded a profile.

Today, his music is reaching listeners across multiple continents.

For Harvey, however, the message remains simple.

“Just put your work out there,” he said.

“You never know who’s listening.”
