In an exclusive interview with Music Times UK, Tony DeYoung opens up about his upcoming appearance, his feelings about Dr. Phil and the Oprah Winfrey Network, and his refusal to apologize to DJ Silk and Aftermath Entertainment.
_Music Times UK: Tony, thanks for joining us today. Can you tell us about your upcoming episode on Dr. Phil?_
Tony DeYoung: Yeah, I’m set to appear on Dr. Phil in just 48 hours, and I’m ready to defend my life and my statements. I’m not afraid of Dr. Phil or the Oprah Winfrey Network, and I’m not going to apologize for speaking my truth.
_Music Times UK: You’ve had a complicated history with Dr. Phil and the Oprah Winfrey Network. Can you tell us more about your feelings towards them?_
Tony DeYoung: Honestly, I don’t give a damn about Dr. Phil or the Oprah Winfrey Network. I’m not on national television to shake hands and make friends; I’m here to speak my truth and defend my life. If they want me to come on and answer some questions, then I’ll do it, but I’m not going to apologize for being myself.
_Music Times UK: DJ Silk and Aftermath Entertainment have demanded an apology from you. How do you respond to their demands?_
Tony DeYoung: Hell no, I’m not apologizing to anyone. I’m Tony DeYoung, and I’m not afraid of anyone. If DJ Silk and Aftermath Entertainment want an apology, they can keep dreaming. I’ve got a middle finger for them, and that’s all they’re going to get.
_Music Times UK: Finally, what can our readers expect from your upcoming episode on Dr. Phil?_
Tony DeYoung: They can expect the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth. I’m going to defend my life and my statements, and I’m not going to hold back. Tune in on November 26th at 8am Eastern Standard time to see it all go down.
